JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour
World Stock Car Festival 100
No. 1 JEGS.com Toyota Camry
Four races remain on the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour calendar, and two of those races are at Winchester Speedway, Coughlin’s favorite race track. Sunday night’s race is the first of those final four for Coughlin as he seeks his second JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour championship.
The Last Race
Cody Coughlin’s last two scheduled JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour races have been rained out. The last time the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour ran, Coughlin finished third at Spitzer Motor Speedway in Ohio.
The Title Hunt
Coughlin holds a 113-point lead in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour standings with four races remaining. He is in search of his second JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour championship after winning in 2013.
Cody Coughlin’s Team JEGS crew will be led by first year crew chief Jack Smith. Smith is joined by Kevin Hamlin (team manager), Scott Wimmer (spotter), and Dave Holt (crew member).
Cody is a third-generation race car driver. His family, including his father, John, has been successful in NHRA drag racing for decades. Cody, unlike his family predecessors, chose the path of circle-track racing rather than follow on the straight-line path set forth by the rest of his family. Cody’s mother, Di, and sister, Kennedi, attend Cody’s races in support of their favorite driver.
The Race Track
The high-banked asphalt half-mile oval is located on SR 32 in Winchester, Indiana. Winchester Speedway is owned by Charlie Shaw. The seating capacity is 5,000 and an underground walk through tunnel makes commuting from the pits to the grandstands convenient.
